Predictions by Hodl Hodl: v1.6 new features
We would like to share some information about the recent updates to our second platform that we’re working on — Predictions by Hodl Hodl (predictions.hodlhodl.com).
Let’s get everything in order.
Offer templates
Initially, when we introduced the Predictions platform, there was only one option to create an offer — to fill in a complicated custom form, explaining the event and its outcome by typing the words, and also, before publishing, this offer had to wait for moderation.
Now, we’ve added a template that everyone can use to create the offer in a few seconds, and offers that use the template do not have to wait for moderation — you can enable it right after it’s created (but moderation for custom offers remains).
Currently, our customers are only able to use the template to create predictions related to cryptocurrency prices, however, we are planning to add more options in the future, such as oil or stock prices.
Offer creation process
For simple navigation, we’ve added buttons to the main page — Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum, Ripple.
If you press any of these buttons, you are redirected to the offer creation template, relating to that specific cryptocurrency. Then you have to specify:
- Whether the price is going to be above the price you select;
- The price itself;
- Fiat currency the price is denominated in;
- The exchange, according to which the price will be checked;
- When the price should be checked;
Simple as that, this only takes a few seconds, and when you’ve specified everything mentioned above, you have to set the trade conditions (for how many bitcoins you are willing to create the contract for, offer balance, etc.)
When the offer is created, you have the opportunity to enable it right away, and it will be publicly available for everyone of our customers — without moderation.
Mobile version
As we recently announced in our blog post relating to the update of our exchange, the mobile version’s functionality has been fixed.
This also applies to our Predictions platform. From now on, all the issues that had prevented using the Predictions platform from mobile are fixed, and everyone can use it right now!
