New features on Hodl Hodl V1.53: Redesigned profile page, ability to block users and more
We continue to work on our redesign and this week Hodl Hodl is happy to announce some newly designed pages and even some new features!
Here is what’s new:
Profile page redesign
The next stage of Hodl Hodl’s redesign is already available to you on the platform. This week we are presenting the new design to your profile page.
To open the Profile page click on your user name in the upper right corner or select “Profile” from the drop down menu available under your nickname. Profile page contains the General trading statistics, user information and reviews left by other users.
Block other users
From now on users can block each other. If you are completely certain you don’t want to deal with a particular trader, you are now able to block them. The blocked user will no longer be able to see your offers through the website or through the API.
Even if you block a user, you will still be able to see their offers, complete active contracts and even create new contracts with them.
We have added a new field to the user statistics that will show how many times a user has been blocked. Don’t worry, blocked users can’t see who has blocked them.
The “Block user” button is now available on each profile page. You can use it to block someone, or to unblock someone if you have changed your mind.
Note: Please notify us about any negative trading experience. You can easily do this by clicking the “Report user” button on the offending users profile page. This way our administrators can take over the issue and handle any scammers or problematic users.
Offers visible only to experienced traders
You will notice a new checkbox in the offer creation page. Marking the “For experienced users only” checkbox will make your offer visible only to users who have successfully completed at least one contract and are therefore familiar with the process of trading on Hodl Hodl. New and inexperienced users will not be able to see the offer at all. This is an invaluable tool for users looking for especially fast and efficient trades.
