New and upcoming features at Hodl Hodl
We have recently updated hodlhodl.com, and would like to shed light on the upgrades made, and also those coming next week.
Let’s get everything in order.
Now: Duplicate the offer
Every user is now able to duplicate an existing offer with one click, and the new offer will be created immediately.
We believe this will reduce the time for setting up everything on your account. Until now, if you wanted to create multiple offers, you had to fill out the offer creation form from the beginning every time.
To duplicate an existing offer, navigate to its page, and press the button “Duplicate”.
Now: Lightning trade limit
We recently faced an issue with releasing funds in a trade, as the amount had exceeded the current limit of the Lightning Network, which is precisely 0.042 BTC.
Thus, from now on, we restrict creating contracts for more than 0.04 BTC on the Lightning Network, in order to avoid similar issues.
Since Lightning Network is currently in development, we believe things will be changed soon, and this limit will be increased.
Soon: Offer bot improvement
In 2018, we created a separate Twitter account with the idea of connecting cryptocurrency buyers and sellers to the latest and best offers at Hodl Hodl.
For quite some time, we operated this Twitter account manually, and once we automated this process, every offer created on Hodl Hodl has been, and currently is, automatically posted on our Twitter account and our Telegram channel.
Today we’d like to announce an improvement — our offer bot will specify the following if:
- The price of the selling offer is below the market price (meaning you can buy cheaper than the market);
- The price of the buying offer is above the market price (meaning you can sell higher than the market);
That’s not all, we’re working on more updates also. If you have any suggestions related to the offer bot, reach out to us and let us know, and don’t forget to follow our bot!
