Make Predictions for free
Starting today, our 2nd project — Predictions by Hodl Hodl — is free predictions.hodlhodl.com.
Predictions is non-custodial, Bitcoin-based, and a P2P prediction market. It allows you to predict the outcome of any event in the world, and earn bitcoins from other users if your prediction is correct. Payouts are made exclusively in Bitcoin, with the conditions of the payout depending on the outcome of any specific event.
Why?
At the moment, we are in the process of significantly improving our trading platform, which is taking most of our time, and Predictions will be our next focus. We are currently planning on improving the UI/UX of the Predictions platform this year, and we will be introducing some exciting new features as well.
So today, we are removing fees for all contracts on our Predictions platform, and we invite everyone to come try it out, and to share your experiences, and offer suggestions for improvements as well.
To start using Predictions
All you need is an account on Hodl Hodl — once you’ve created your account, you are free to make your own predictions and disagree with any existing ones.
To make a prediction offer, simply click the “Add offer” button on the front page of our website.
To create your own prediction offer, you must describe the event, the outcome that you are predicting, how many bitcoins you are willing to lock in escrow, and how much BTC your counterparty must lock in escrow.
We have made the process as simple as possible, and creating offers shouldn’t take much of your time.
