Hodl Hodl increases referral payouts

Starting Tomorrow, November 1st 2019, changes to the Hodl Hodl referral program come into full force. Hodl Hodl increases it’s referral payouts up to 40% until the end of 2019, meaning that every user who has ever invited any referrals, or is planning to invite any, will receive up to 40% of the exchange fee that Hodl Hodl earns from each trade completed.

How does it work?
Share your referral link provided in the referral dashboard, and after someone signs up using the link (or code), you will instantly be paid every time they complete a trade.
Make sure that you provide a release address before your referred user completes the contract, otherwise you won’t get paid for this contract.
What has changed?
Prior to today, you could have earned up to 10% of the exchange fee when your referrals made a trade. However, in order to increase the liquidity and support the transition from other exchanges, we decided to improve the rewards for our referral program. Therefore, beginning the 1st of November, you will be able to earn increased referral payouts till the 31st of December 2019, inclusive.
How much do I get?
The amount of the payouts differ depending on the user’s exchange fee. The standard exchange fee on Hodl Hodl is 0.6% per trade, 0.55% for referred users, and 0.5% for verified users, 0% for those who verified accounts on other P2P exchanges. Therefore, there are several possible options:
- If your referred user trades with a basic user, you get 20% of the exchange fee;
- If your referred user trades with another user’s referred user, you get 20%;
- If two of your referred users trade with each other, you get 40%;
- If one of the counterparties has an exchange fee of 0%, meaning that Hold Hodl earns no exchange fee from a completed trade, no referral payouts are made.
For how long can I use the referral program?
You can use our referral program forever, and you’ll always earn a commission from all active traders you have invited. After the period from 01.11.2019 to 31.12.2019 referral payouts will return to their previous amounts.
